Author Biography
Dr Daniel Newman is senior lecturer at Cardiff School of Law and Politics, Wales. He is author of Legal Aid Lawyers and the Quest for Justice (Hart, 2013). He is currently writing a monograph on access to civil justice under austerity with Jon Robins to be published by Bristol University Press, a monograph on criminal justice in Wales with Roxanna Dehaghani also for Bristol University Press and an edited a collection with Faith Gordon on leading works in social justice with Routledge. His work focuses on social justice, especially the impact of neoliberalism and austerity on people's experience of the law. Email: newmandc@cardiff.ac.uk.
