A new issue of Law, Technology and Humans has been published, including authors from Brazil, Austria, Japan, India, Australia, Italy, the UK and Canada.
Volume 8(2) includes a collection of symposium articles from Ordering of Human-Artificial Intelligent (AI) Constructs. Guest Editors Matilda Arvidsson (Lund University) and Kieran Tranter (Queensland University of Technology) shift the frame of how law, humans and AI is being understood and showcase how more relational, creative, and socio-technically grounded understandings of AI-human constructs allow for new ways of understanding what order and ordering is and can be.
Also included are a selection of articles related to AI healthcare services, algorithmic systems to identify suspected welfare fraud, online disinformation and the governance of social media platforms.
And finally, Habibe Deniz Seval reviews The Robot Rights Manifesto by John-Stewart Gordon.
Law, Technology and Humans (ISSN 2652-4074) is an innovative, open access Diamond journal dedicated to research and scholarship on the human and humanity of law and technology. Supported by the Humans Technology Law Centre and the School of Law at Queensland University of Technology, the Journal is indexed in international databases including Scopus and Web of Science, and importantly in the largest open access database DOAJ.
